The RubyMentor project aims to assist those learning Ruby by assigning them a 1:1 mentor to guide them in their learning. This does not mean that he is a teacher, the burden of learning is still on the learner, but he will help them get to know Ruby and its ecosystem better and with the design and implementation of their first Ruby software.
Mentors are volunteers.
To subscribe, go to the one of the pages listing available mentors, pick one and email him asking if he is willing to mentor you.
To volunteer as a mentor, go to one of the aforementioned pages and add yourself to the list.
Soon we will have better infrastructure.
